When you sign up to Receiver we give you a telephone number and you have the option to provide us with information about your business (your business’ the website address, the office address, etc…). If you would like to use your existing number with our cheap telephone answering service you can do that too. Just set up call forwarding from your current number to our number and our call answering service will work with your current number. This is very simple with most phone providers and a quick google will tell you how to do it.

When you receive a telephone call
We then immediately begin our phone answering services (if it’s a standard business day between 9AM and 6PM). When the number we give you is dialed one of our receptionists will answer the phone with your business’ name.

Depending on what you choose in the Receiver telephone answering service control panel we can take a message which is emailed to you (or someone on your team) immediately or we can transfer the telephone call.

You are able to add team members from your business to your phone answering service control panel. We can transfer the phone call or send a message to any of these individuals.

Personal service
When we transfer a telephone call with our telephone answering service, we first call you up to see if you are available and to find out if you would like to speak to the person who has called.
